WINNIPEG — NewLeaf Travel Company is now allowing passengers to pay for fares using Interac Online.

Customers with access to Interac Online through their financial institutions can now use their debit card to purchase flights with funds directly withdrawn from their bank account, said the company. “Canadians use Interac more than any other payment brand and providing this option for NewLeaf Customers enhances, streamlines and offers a cost effective alternative for booking travel.”

The Interac Online option is available when passengers are booking through GoNewLeaf.ca. NewLeaf airport check-in counters are also equipped with Interac for ancillary purchases.

“NewLeaf is proud to offer Canadians more choice in payment methods when booking air travel. This option, which is not available through all Canadian airlines, demonstrates the resourcefulness and agility to respond to customer feedback,” said the company.
