Ko‘olau Distillery has launched its new whiskey tours during which guests can learn more about the crafting of its Old Pali Road Whiskey.

Located in the Kapa’a Quarry Industrial Park in Kailua, the 45-minute guided tours are led by whiskey aficionados who’ll take guests along a six-step journey through the whiskey-making process, beginning with an introduction to the local ingredients used and how they contribute to Old Pali Road Whiskey’s unique flavour.

Next, guests learn about mashing, fermenting, distilling and aging before bottle-filling and labelling by hand. The tour ends with a whiskey tasting.

Tours are only available to adults 21 years old and older with a valid ID, and are priced at US$20. All distillery tours include a souvenir glass.
