TORONTO — A new video from The Travel Corporation and two its many brands, Red Carnation Hotels and African Travel Inc., offers a sneak peek at the new Xigeria Safari Lodge in Botswana.

Scheduled to open later this year, the lodge offers a secluded location on the western edge of the Moremi Game Reserve, nestled in the Okavango Delta.

The webinar was hosted by Xigeria Safari Lodge’s managing director, Mike Myers along with Marian Myers, Operations Director, and Quest Maundo, Lodge Manager.

While Mike shows off all the work that has gone into the lodge, Marian offers ideas for how to unwind at the lodge and Quest introduces the staff.

The lodge has 12 individually designed suites, including one two-bedroom family suite. All are 100% solar powered. The 12 suites are scattered across two islands, bridged together with a bronze lily centrepiece sculpture, Xigera’s recurring motif.
