MIAMI — Following a two-week dry dock, Norwegian Cruise Line’s Norwegian Pearl has sailed into its seasonal homeport of Miami.
Norwegian Pearl received a new modern look in every stateroom and many public spaces as part of The Norwegian Edge, NCL’s investment program for a high standard of excellence for the Norwegian brand.

With this dry-dock we wanted to provide her with a refreshed, clean and modern onboard atmosphere while maintaining the ship’s overall charm and flexibility that our guests enjoy so much,” said Andy Stuart, Norwegian Cruise Line President and CEO. “Through ‘The Norwegian Edge’ program we are continuing to heavily invest in our fleet to ensure that guests have a consistent experience across all Norwegian ships and the freedom to create their ideal cruise vacation.”

The new accommodations now feature blue hues with silver and turquoise accents. Each of the 1,197 staterooms have new furniture, new carpeting, new headboards, new TVs and the addition of USB outlets. The ship also added more than 2,200 art pieces in the staterooms, Cagney’s Restaurant and The Haven.
Guests who stay in The Haven by Norwegian on Norwegian Pearl will have a newly refurbished Haven Courtyard with new finishes on the decks, pool and hot tub along with the addition of new cabanas. The Haven’s suites and villas also received new wallpaper, new furniture and new finishes on the ceilings and balconies, new carpets, new drapes and artwork.
Along with the upgraded accommodations, Cagney’s Steakhouse also received new carpets, artwork, furniture upholstery and window treatments. Moderno Churrascaria features new tables and chairs, wall laminates, new granite bar tops in the restaurant’s bar and salad bar and a new glass door entrance. For guests looking for a relaxed atmosphere, O’Sheehan’s Bar & Grill has new modern flooring, a refurbished bar with granite tops, bar back shelving, new ceiling and light fixtures, new wall finishes throughout the restaurant, fresh tables and chairs and the addition of banquet seating for larger parties.

The pool deck got a facelift too, as did both The Great Outdoors bar and Sky High bar.
Norwegian Pearl is currently sailing from Miami through April, offering numerous itineraries including roundtrip sailings through the Panama Canal and itineraries to the Western Caribbean.
In the summer months, Norwegian Pearl will sail seven-day cruises to Alaska from Seattle featuring calls in Juneau, Skagway, Ketchikan and Victoria.
