TORONTO — GLP Worldwide is offering agents the opportunity to experience Norway aboard the refurbished MS Polarlys through a range of cultural and adventure activities.
The agent fam trip takes place Nov. 3 – 11, 2019 and will sail along Noway’s scenic coastline, with visits to local communities, a crossing of the Arctic Circle and the opportunity to see the Aurora Borealis.
Agents must register by July 31, 2019 with a participation fee of Cdn$2,190 per agent based on twin sharing ($425 single supplement).
The participation fee includes five nights accommodation with full-board on MS Polarlys, guided city tours per itinerary, transfers and train tickets per itinerary, Hurtigruten product and sales training on board, one night each in Oslo, Kirkenes and Bergen, and GLP Worldwide product offerings and special incentives.
Alan Law, GLP Worldwide’s Director of Sales and Marketing, says: “Today’s travellers are looking for cultural and nature focused activities and this trip will allow agents to confidently advise their clients about the ship’s features, crew, cuisine, cabins but also describe the incredible nature and cultural encounters they will have on the cruise.”
The fam begins in Kirkenes and heads south along the coast of Norway, visiting significant ports of call including Trondheim and the North Cape. The voyage ends in Bergen. The adventure will teach agents about Norway, Hurtigruten’s cruises and expeditions around the world as well as GLP’s other distinctly different product offerings, says Law.
MS Polarlys sails 619 passengers and features three restaurants serving both Norweigan and international cuisine, a Multe bakery, ice cream bar, sauna, fitness room, two outdoor hot tubs, panorama Explorer bar lounge, sundeck, daily briefings and lectures by the Expedition team.
Approvals for the fam trip will be sent by Aug. 9, 2019. Full itinerary and registration details can be found at http://info.glpworldwide.com/2019-hurtigruten-fam.
