CALGARY — Buyers are lining up to sign exclusive hotel agreements now that resorts and not destinations have become the main differentiator between tour operators competing in a crowded marketplace. When WestJet Vacations’ new fall/winter 2017-2018 brochure drops at the end of this month it will include brand new WestJet Vacations exclusive collection hotels along with more than 500 detailed hotel descriptions, scheduled flight information and destination overviews including maps and travel tips from WestJetters.

WestJet says the brochure “is the perfect tool for travel agents” and includes vacation packages to the Caribbean, Central America, Europe, Mexico and the U.S.

WestJet is offering a sneak peek of its 2017-2018 brochure, set to be released at the end of April and available at all of the 2017 WestJet Travel Trade Expos taking place April 24 to May 4 in cities across Canada.

Dates and venues for the 2017 WestJet Travel Trade Expos are: April 24, Toronto, Metro Toronto Convention Centre; April 25, Mississauga, The International Centre; April 27, Montreal, Palais des congrès de Montréal; May 1, Calgary, Telus Convention Centre; May 2, Edmonton, Northlands Edmonton Expo Centre; and May 4, Vancouver, Vancouver Convention Centre. All events run 5:30 – 8:30 p.m.
