TORONTO — Air Transat has a new home at Toronto’s Pearson International Airport.
The move takes effect today, June 4. Air Transat says it is working closely with GTAA during the transition in order to optimize the check-in process.
Though still at Terminal 3, Transat’s new check-in counters are now at the end of the departure area.
“This new location will enhance our passengers’ experience,” says Transat.
The change comes with an increased number of full-service and self-service kiosks (44 in total), two self‑service baggage drop-off areas and an easy access to the international security checkpoint, notes the airline.
Transat has sent out a map of the new location, with the check-in counters are divided as follows:
- Counters 501–508 are dedicated to priority services for Club Class, Option Plus and Eco Max
- Counters 509–521 are the main check-in for Economy Class, including dedicated counters for family services
- Counters 521–534 will be used by Air Transat during peak periods (and shared with other carriers)
