MISSISSAUGA — TravelBrands has appointed a former WestJetter as its new Business Development Manager for British Columbia.

Afra Davis, who previously served as Product Buyer and Contract Coordinator and Product Coordinator at WestJet, will assume her new role at TravelBrands on July 23, following Tracy Poole’s retirement.

Davis’ 20-plus career includes experience in both the wholesale and retail travel sectors in Canada. She has worked for airlines, tour operators and agencies, including Flight Centre, and most recently held the role of Account Manager Western Canada at the Las Vegas Convention and Visitors Authority (LVCVA).

Bruce Lidberg, Director of Sales Western Canada, expressed his excitement over Davis joining the sales team. “Afra has extensive travel experience, not only in account management but also in operations, product and business development. We believe Afra will have great success working with our wonderful retail partners in British Columbia and helping them grow their business with TravelBrands,” he said.
