TORONTO — Globus’ new lineup of North America vacations includes new ‘Special Event’ getaways and, for the first time, tours to Mexico.
Clients who book any 2017 Globus North America or Costa Rica tour by Nov. 29, 2016 save 10%. Cosmos travellers save $50 per person when they book by Oct. 25. Clients also save up to an additional $300 per person on select Globus and Cosmos Canada tours featuring VIA Rail or the Rocky Mountaineer.
“We really have something for any client who’d love to travel in the company of newfound friends, on a hassle-free itinerary where you can leave the driving to someone else,” says Stéphanie Bishop, managing director for the Globus family of brands in Canada. “Whether they want to soak in that famous Southern hospitality, experience the majesty of Alaska or get to know their own country a bit better – it’s all there for them.” In all, the company will feature 47 itineraries across Canada, the U.S. and Mexico next year.
A new ‘Special Event’ itinerary for 2017 is the seven-day Tournament of Roses with San Diego. Globus is also introducing Mexico in the new year, comprising a 10-day Mexico’s Copper Canyon vacation and eight-day The Wonders of Mexico’s Yucatán itinerary.
For Canadians hoping to enjoy the beauty and wonder of America’s landscapes, Globus is also once again offering dozens of GoParks! tours. “Each year we find that our outdoor escapes vacations, which showcasing the outstanding landscape across the U.S., are extremely popular,” says Bishop. “This year there are 16 Globus GoParks! tours to 43 national parks, a wonderful way to experience magnificent landscapes.”
Globus’ top three GoParks! Itineraries are: the eight-day Canyon Country Adventure; the nine-day Classic Fall Foliage and the 10-day Spectacular Alaska. And returning are the always-popular Fall Foliage Tours, with 11 to choose from in 2017.
Meanwhile Cosmos is unveiling escorted tours from $166 per day on 13-day The Canadian Rockies tour. Highlights include four national parks, ferry crossing to and from Victoria Island, and an inside visit to Butchart Gardens.
