MISSISSAUGA — MSC Cruises Canada has launched Fly and Cruise packages as part of its winter 2021/22 sailing program in the South Caribbean.
The cruise line will operate a dedicated charter flight to St. Maarten every Sunday from Montreal starting Dec. 19, along with an allocation of seats on flights operating every Sunday from Toronto to St. Maarten starting Jan. 2, 2022.
The MSC Seaview will be based in the South Caribbean for winter 2021/2022 to operate 7- and 14-night cruises from St. Maarten.
Seven-night packages include flight, transfers between the airport and MSC Seaview in St. Maarten, and a cruise in a cabin of choice including MSC Yacht Club. For added convenience, MSC Cruises will have dedicated representative service at departure points in Montreal and Toronto airports.
There will be two different seven-night itineraries:
- Itinerary #1 will depart from the port of Philipsburg, St. Maarten’s capital, and call at Bridgetown (Barbados), Castries (St. Lucia), Saint George (Grenada), Basseterre (St. Kitts and Nevis) before returning to St. Maarten
- Itinerary #2 will also depart from St. Maarten and call at Bridgetown (Barbados), Roseau (Dominica), St. John’s (Antigua and Barbuda) and Road Town (Tortola) before returning to St. Maarten
Both cruises will be available as a 14-night ‘cruise only’ option as well as 7- and 14-night voyages from Bridgetown each Tuesday.
‘The southern Caribbean is an area much loved by Canadian cruisers and we have worked hard to put together options that would allow us to confirm our usual winter season here, of course supported by our industry-leading health and safety protocols,” said Ian Patterson, Country Manager, MSC Cruises Canada.
“The addition of our Fly and Cruise packages will make these new itineraries even more accessible for our Canadian guests and allow us to offer them an incredible cruise holiday this winter, calling at some of the most beautiful islands in the South Caribbean onboard MSC Seaview, the perfect ship for sailing in these waters,” he added.
MSC Seaview offers 2,066 guest cabins as well as the cruise industry’s highest ratio of open space per passenger. For more information about the ship click here.
