TORONTO — Goway Travel has introduced new long stay options in Oaxaca, Mexico and Panama for the 2018/19 winter season.

Goway is no stranger to long stay product, offering multi-week options in Australia since 1994. Since then the company has added New Zealand, the Cook Islands, Portugal, Spain, and Malta to its list of snowbird options.

The Panama and Mexico addition “bring Latin America into the folding giving Globetrotters even more choice for beating the frigid winter,” says Goway.

‘Goway Goes to Mexico’ takes snowbirds to Oaxaca’s Emerald Coast, just outside Puerto Escondido. Goway says its long stay resort here is an exclusive gated community with premier oceanfront condos and luxury private villas. Guests get wide-angle Pacific Ocean views, a clubhouse, gym, tennis courts and swim up bars.

The resort is close enough to combine “the conveniences of the city with the serenity of paradise”, says Goway. Guests can self-cater in their suite or get freshly prepared meals at the restaurant. A 21-day stay for $1,383 includes accommodation, transfers and a stocked fridge for arrival. Longer 45 day stays start at $3,363.

Meanwhile in Panama City Goway is offering the centrally located Marriott Executive Apartments, putting snowbirds right in Panama City’s business district. The modern property has a gym, free parking, and free WiFi in rooms, and the terrace has a swimming pool with ocean views. Shops and restaurants are within a five-minute walk of the Finisterre. A 22-day stay starts at $2,824.

Another option, the Colonial Panama Long Stay, offers 22 days from $4,646 at Las Clementinas Apartments in Casco Viejo.
