TORONTO — Over 40 travel agents took part in Merit Travel’s ninth annual Award of Merit trip, which took place earlier this month at Playa Resorts’ newest Hilton in La Romana, Dominican Republic.

Top performers, accompanied by their companions, were honoured by the Senior Management Team for their hard work and dedication to the company. They also enjoyed plenty of leisure time to soak up the sun and relax with their colleagues.

The Award of Merit is an annual rewards program that recognizes outstanding achievements by employees in the leisure division. Merit Travel is expanding this trip company-wide in 2020 and plans to reward closer to 60 top performers during its 10th annual event next December.
