TORONTO — To lead Contiki Holidays Canada, one must be well versed in two areas of expertise: millennial travel and digital strategy. Judging by the background of its newly appointed President, it looks like the company is in very good hands.
Contiki Holidays has appointed Andrew Moore as President of Contiki Holidays Canada, effective immediately. Moore brings with him an extensive background in marketing and brand strategy in the hospitality industry. Most recently, he served as the Director of Marketing and Digital Strategy for The Rec Room, an initiative by Cineplex Entertainment aimed at young adults and families. He also worked in digital marketing and brand strategy for Prime Restaurants of Canada and Shoeless Joe’s.
“Contiki Canada is continually innovating in the millennial market and we are thrilled to welcome Andrew in his new role. His expertise in leadership, as well as in digital marketing and brand strategy, will play a large role in furthering Contiki’s status as the leader in the millennial travel industry,” said Jeff Element, President of Contiki Holidays Canada’s parent company, the Travel Corporation Canada, “In the coming weeks, I will be personally introducing Andrew to our valued trade partners.”
Moore added: “I am ecstatic to be joining Contiki’s Dream Team and help lead a brand that I have admired for a long time. What I am most looking forward to in my new role is to help young Canadians ‘Travel with No Regrets’!”
