TORONTO — Following a three-year absence due to the pandemic, Experience Kissimmee is back on track, bringing a diverse group of eight partners who embarked on an exclusive two-city sales mission this week that commenced in Montreal and ended in Toronto on Oct. 5.
“We’re excited to be back in Canada with a number of our local partners, including hotels, attractions and world-famous theme parks,” said Denise Graham, Account Manager for Experience Kissimmee at VoX International.
The Sand Trap Golf Simulator & Lounge in Toronto, equipped with golf simulators and clubs, provided a fun-filled event setting for trade partners, media and travel advisors.
The event tapped into new insights, product updates, networking opportunities and, for those who were game, a few virtual swings.
Also in attendance this week and excited to be back was Yinglu Tian, Experience Kissimmee’s Director of International & Domestic Sales, based in Kissimmee.
Kissimmee is well-known as the ‘Vacation Home Capital of the World.’ Still, in addition to the nearly 60,000 vacation rental homes available, last night’s theme and messaging were also about golf. With some 22 18-hole golf course partners, keeping the sport top-of-mind among the wide range of activities available to the area is only fitting.
The evening ended with a bit of a friendly competition and a prize awarded for a shot closest to the pin. Helen Awakimian of Sahara Travel in Toronto was the lucky recipient of a $50 prepaid Visa gift card.
