PLANTATION, FL — Marriott International in the Caribbean and Latin America has signed Marriott MichesBeach, An All-Inclusive Resort to its All-Inclusive by Marriott Bonvoy portfolio.
The resort, currently operating as the Sunrise Miches Beach Resort in the Dominican Republic, will undergo a conversion process starting in Q4 of 2024. It is scheduled to open its doors under the Marriott Hotels brand in Q1 of 2025.
Situated on 62 acres in Miches, within 60 minutes of Punta Cana International Airport, the resort boasts nearly 1,000 feet of pristine beachfront and 498 rooms with balconies and terraces, with select accommodations offering private swimup pools. Following the conversion, it will also offer a wide array of amenities, including a spa with over 10 treatment rooms, a retail area, three pools with poolside bars, six restaurants, three pop-up venues, stylish bars, a jacuzzi lounge, approximately 8,600 square feet of indoor meeting space, a discotheque and a fully-equipped gym. Programming and activities will be curated to follow Marriott All-Inclusive standards.

Following the announcement of the first Marriott All-Inclusive Resort in Cancun, Mexico in late 2023 (set to open in March 2024), the Marriott Miches Beach, An All-Inclusive Resort, Dominican Republic joins a portfolio of global properties debuting into Marriott Hotels All-Inclusive flagship throughout 2024 and 2025. These include Marriott Puerto Vallarta, An All-Inclusive Resort and Marriott Djerba, An All-Inclusive Resort – Tunisia.
