Emma Madsen

TORONTO — Philip Rose, the Jamaica Tourist Board’s Regional Director in Canada, has announced the appointment of Emma Madsen as Business Development Manager in Western Canada.

Starting today Madsen will be responsible for developing the JTB’s sales initiatives in Western Canada.

An industry veteran and expert on Jamaica, Madsen previously held the same role with the Jamaica Tourist Board from 2009 to 2013.

Prior to that she was a BDM for Sunwing Vacations and Sunquest/Holiday House. She began her career in the travel industry in 2000 as a reservations agent at Fun Sun Vacations.

Madsen will be based in Calgary with responsibility for sales in Manitoba, Saskatchewan, Alberta and B.C. She can be reached at emadsen@visitjamaica.com.
