TORONTO — In anticipation of the lifting of global travel restrictions, Lufthansa is set to resume a limited number of intercontinental flights to Canada in June, with Toronto being its very first gateway.
Beginning June 3, Lufthansa will be offering three weekly, nonstop flights from Toronto to Frankfurt, with additional Canadian flights currently being evaluated and planned for later in the summer.
Toronto-Frankfurt, says the company, serves as an important long-haul connection for Toronto-based travel to Europe, the Middle East, Africa and India. A total of 106 European destinations will be served next month.
