TORONTO — Lufthansa plans to launch nonstop Toronto-Munich service next year starting June 5.
Lufthansa said more than 80,000 companies have their headquarters in Toronto and the region occupies a leading position in the field of communications and IT technology.
Initially, Lufthansa will only operate flights to Toronto in the summer under flight number LH494. As with the flight from Frankfurt, the new daily service to Toronto will enable convenient connections to the hub of Lufthansa’s Star Alliance partner, Air Canada. The Airbus A330-300 that will serve this route will be fitted out with the new First and Business Class seats.
