NEW YORK — John Lovell will add to his current duties at Internova Travel Group and become President of Travel Leaders Network on Jan. 1, 2025.
The news comes a few months after the May 2024 announcement that current TLN President Roger Block will step down effective Dec. 31.
Lovell has had strategic oversight of the Travel Leaders Network consortium since its formation, and is heavily involved in its decision-making, with responsibility in the areas of strategic operations, P&L performance, partner sales and the overall growth of the organization. The Presidents of Roadtrips (offering luxury travel packages to the world’s major sporting events) and Bonotel Exclusive Travel (the leading aggregator and wholesale distributor of both branded and boutique luxury hotel rooms) will continue to report to Lovell.
Travel Leaders Network represents approximately 5,700 travel agency locations across the U.S. and Canada, making it one of the largest sellers of luxury travel, cruises and tours in the industry. Internova Travel Group is the parent company of Travel Leaders Network.
“This is an exciting time to be part of Travel Leaders Network,” Lovell said. “Consumers are increasingly recognizing the benefits that come with using a skilled professional travel advisor to plan their trips. Travel advisors save time, get clients the best value for their money and provide peace of mind. They also open up a world of experiences for travellers that they might not find on their own.”
Prior to his role within the executive leadership of Internova Travel Group, Lovell served as President of Vacation.com and also held executive positions with ANC Rental Corporation and Renaissance Travel Solutions.
In 2015, he founded the Family Bonds Foundation, the nonprofit giving arm of Internova Travel Group that supports the charitable needs of those who work within the travel industry as well as the wider community.
