PUNTA CANA — In an effort to ensure the health and safety of its guests, the Lopesan Hotel Group is temporarily closing the Lopesan Costa Bávaro Resort, Spa & Casino in Punta Cana, effective March 22.
The closure will remain in effect until further notice.
At present, none of the guests or employees at the resort have exhibited signs or symptoms of COVID-19.
“Our hearts go out to those that have been affected by this outbreak,” said Jose Alba, commercial director of Lopesan Hotel Group. “We thank all the government and healthcare workers that are on the front lines and will continue to do our part by providing immense support for our guests and employees during this difficult time.”
To accommodate impacted guests, Lopesan Costa Bávaro Resort will be waiving all reservation change fees for travel through Nov. 30, 2020.
