LONDON — Agents should warn clients looking to get around London this Thursday – or get to or from Heathrow – that there will be a 24-hour strike work stoppage impacting the London tube.
According to TravelMole, the day-long strike, set for Oct. 5, will affect the entire underground system. “We are advising customers that the whole Tube network will be substantially disrupted on Thursday 5 October should planned strike action by Aslef members go ahead,” said a Transport for London spokesperson. Aslef is the union that represents the subway train’s drivers.
“All other TfL services will be unaffected by many will be busier than usual as customers seek alternative routes.”
