MONTREAL – Air Transat is inviting Canadians to (re)discover the charms of London during a discussion on Facebook this Friday, June 22.
Taking place at noon (EDT) on Air Transat’s Facebook Page, the discussion will be hosted by travel blogger Tamara Elliott, who’ll be interviewing Emanuel, an Air Transat Sales & Service Supervisor who spent many years in London and has a passion for travel. Marie-Ève, another Air Transat employee, will also be sharing Europe travel tips, but for the city of Lisbon.
Air Transat offers daily direct flights from Toronto and Vancouver, and departures from Montreal, Calgary and Quebec to London Gatwick Airport. There will be six weekly flights from Montreal and Calgary, including three direct flights. As for Quebec City, there will be one flight per week, via Montreal.
In total, it will have 37 weekly departures at the height of summer, including 22 direct flights and 15 with connecting flights, said Annick Guérard, Chief Operating Officer at Transat.
Air Transat also has multi-destination options that allow travellers to land in one European city and return from another at no extra cost. As such, it opens up a range of itinerary possibilities and lets people combine several destinations such as London and Manchester, without having to backtrack.
To find out more about other travellers’ take on London, clients are invited to check out Experience Transat, a blog by and for globetrotters, at https://www.airtransat.com/experiencetransat/search/?search=london.
