DeNureTours committed to 2014 prices published in brochure

LINDSAY, ON — While many tour operators and airlines are turning to surcharges to offset the decreasing Canadian dollar, DeNureTours says it remains committed to the 2014 prices published in the brochure that was released in November of 2013.

“We feel that surcharges are unfair to consumers and a poor business practice,” said Jill Brett, President of DeNureTours. “After 54 years in business, we know that these fluctuations happen and whether it is because of our depreciating dollar or rising gas prices, factors like these have to be taken into consideration when prices are determined.”

DeNureTours released the 2014 brochure in November and it includes all long-stay programs to Florida and Myrtle Beach, as well as sightseeing vacations and cruises throughout North America, Britain and Europe.

“We have always maintained a policy that if people have booked their tour in advance and the price goes up in the next brochure, we honour the price we quoted,” added Brett. “Conversely, if the next brochure shows a price decrease, our guests will pay the lower price.”

While the company has been operating for 54 years, 2014 marks a special anniversary for DeNureTours. For 30 years, they have been creating holidays to Britain and Europe featuring many included meals and activities, and most importantly, a pace suited for an older clientele.
