During the week of May 13, VISIT FLORIDA will host a familiarization tour around Greater Ft. Lauderdale and Florida’s Treasure Coast. The FAM will start on May 13, with the group flying into the Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood International Airport. For the first half of the week, the group will travel through Greater Fort Lauderdale, experiencing much of what this iconic Florida destination has to offer. During the second half of the week, the group will visit Florida’s Treasure Coast, which is comprised of three counties: Martin County, St. Lucie County and Indian River County. The Treasure Coast offers “thousands of miles of untouched land, undeveloped coastlines you could walk for hours, locally owned shops and restaurants, historic farmers markets, charming art scenes, and countless water and sporting activities.”

To qualify for this FAM, agents must complete VISIT FLORIDA’s new online learning program, Florida Travel Pro by 03/20/19. This e-learning platform is designed to help travel professionals nationwide discover the best the state has to offer and sell Florida like a pro. *NOTE: Once you complete the program, please email Summer Gonzalez (sgonzalez@visitflorida.org) to express your interest in participating this FAM.
