MONTREAL — Transat has appointed Julie Sareault as its new Commercial Director for Quebec, effective July 4.

Sareault, who is currently Manager, National Sales for Air Transat, takes over the reins from Karine Gagnon, who was recently promoted to General Manager of Transat Distribution Canada (TDC).

On Sareault’s new role, Joseph Adamo, Chief Sales and Marketing Officer, Transat, says: “I am very pleased to announce the appointment of Julie to head up our Quebec business operations. A gifted leader and communicator, she is the ideal person to take on this new role with over 20 years of experience in the tour operator, airline and travel retail industries.”

Sareault’s successor will be announced in the coming weeks.
