MONTREAL — Joseph Adamo, Transat’s Chief Sales and Marketing Officer and President of Transat Distribution Canada (TDC) has been elected to the Board of Directors of the Alliance de l’industrie touristique du Québec.

Adamo is the first and only member of the Board to come from the airline industry. 

“It is an honour to join the Alliance Board,” says Adamo. “I look forward to contributing to its continued growth and success as we work together to make Quebec a top-tier destination for travellers from around the world.”

Created in 2016, Alliance de l’industrie touristique du Québec comprises the Quebec Association of the Tourism Industry (AQIT), ATR Associés du Québec and ATS Québec, bringing together more than 10,000 tourism businesses in support of Quebec’s tourism industry.
