MONTREAL — Atout France Canada is inviting tour operators to apply for its Product of the Year award, with winners recognized at the upcoming Destination France Gala events in Montreal (Feb. 25) and Toronto (Feb. 26).

Aimed at celebrating the work of tour operators who renew their tours and travel options in France, the award is also a means to highlight the best travel offers to French destinations.

Atout France is inviting tour operators who have scheduled new travel products in France and its overseas regions in 2018 to submit their applications before Jan. 31, 2019 at 23:59 (EST). These offers will be selected by a jury and then published on the Destination France website for the travel agents to vote, with voting taking place Feb. 6 – 20.

The winning tour operator of the Product of the Year Award will receive visibility on the ca.france.fr website and an article in two editions of the Atout France general public newsletter in Canada.

To boost participation, says Atout France, two prizes are up for grabs for the agents who vote for the Product of the Year award. The first prize is a 4.5 hour guided tour of Paris in 2CV (vintage car) worth 594 euros before tax. The draw for this prize will take place at the Montreal gala.

The second prize is a voucher for a Fantastic Suite at the W Paris Opera, breakfast included, for two people, worth 630 euros excluding taxes. This draw will take place at the Toronto gala. Both prizes are sponsored by Paris-based 4 roues sous 1 parapluie.
