MONTREAL — Dianne Jackson has been named Director, Franchise and Affiliate Members at Transat Distribution Canada (TDC).
Jackson will be part of the leadership team and will report directly to Karine Gagnon, TDC’s General Manager. She joins the team effective Sept. 11.
Most recently Jackson headed up Reps4Rent, the company she founded in 2022. Last week she announced she was stepping down from Reps4Rent and handing over the reins to her daughter, Cassandra Jackson. Reps4Rent offers a range of services through a network of independent sales professionals.
In her new role with TDC, Jackson will be responsible for the success and growth of the TDC Network’s franchise and affiliate travel agency program for all provinces, except Quebec. She will also be responsible for the renewal and recruitment process of new franchises and affiliates, as well as maintaining strong business relationships with TDC members and key players in the industry.
Jackson’s 30+ years in the Canadian travel industry includes leadership roles with CAA Travel, Red Label, Allianz Global Assistance and Signature Vacations. As well as previously owning a travel agency, she co-owned a chain of Bargain Centers as franchisee.
Says Gagnon: “Her experience, her strong leadership and her passion for travel make her a truly valuable and strong addition to the TDC team.”
