TORONTO — Intrepid Travel will be handing out golden tickets to 20 travel agents across Canada in celebration of the Escape the Ordinary campaign.

The golden tickets will be hidden inside fortune cookies being distributed by Intrepid BDMs to agents during shop visits and trainings over the next month. The fortune cookies are inspired by the 10% offer on trips in Asia, running until Nov. 15 for travel between January and August 2015.

There will be 800 cookies handed out over the course of the promotion, 20 of which will contain golden tickets. Those lucky agents will be entered into a draw to win 20 prizes including Intrepid Travel vouchers, a Canon camera and a grand prize trip to Cambodia.

“It is very important for us to engage agents in new and exciting ways,” says Christian Wolters, Deputy Manager for Intrepid in Canada. “We wanted to bring attention to our Escape the Ordinary campaign in a way that was not only fun but rewarding.”
