TORONTO — Booking with Insight Vacations is a sure thing, with over 145 newly announced Definite Departures beginning this July and August 2021.

The tour operator is offering some of its most popular premium tours to Europe, the Eastern Mediterranean and Egypt, with countries like Italy, France and Iceland now welcoming Canadians. The news comes following the federal government’s announcement that starting July 5, quarantine restrictions will be lifted for fully-vaccinated Canadians and permanent residents, nor will they be required to complete the day 8 COVID-19 test.

All itineraries feature stylish hand-picked hotels, unique ‘Insight Experience,’ the assistance of a knowledgeable Travel Director as well as a dedicated Well-Being Director. Definite Departure itineraries include:

  • Dalmatian Elegance (July 2021): This nine-day Easy Pace-style journey cruises the waters of the Adriatic in style. In Kuna, guests will enjoy an Insight Experience during which they’ll meet locals and enjoy a traditional village feast of Croatian delights. Other highlights include two UNESCO visits to the Old City of Dubrovnik and the Historical Complex of Split with the Palace of Diocletian. In Bol, guests will also sample local wines after setting sail to the island of Brac.
  • Greek Island Hopper (August 2021): On this 10-day Regional Journey, guests will explore the best of Athens before spending four days in Santorini where they’ll meet a local geology expert. They’ll then sail to Mykonos for another four days to enjoy fresh Mediterranean cuisine, including Welcome and Celebration Dinners.
  • Country Roads of France (September 2021): On this 16-day ‘Tour de France,’ guests will begin in Paris and make their way to the Champagne region to sample some bubbly with an expert vintner. From there, they’ll travel to Monaco and the Côte D’Azur, and then on to Vers Pont du Gard where they’ll try their hand at pétanque.
  • Scenic Iceland and the Northern Lights (October 2021): This seven-day Country Roads-style journey begins in Reykjavik to witness the Northern Lights and ends at the Blue Lagoon with a dip in its naturally thermal waters. Between those two days they will visit Gullfoss to view the two-tiered waterfall before stopping at the magnificent Hekla and Eyjafjallajökull volcanoes.
