TORONTO — Travel Edge has named David Thorne as Vice President of Business Development.

Thorne brings more than 25 years of experience to the post with companies including Carlson Wagonlit Travel, Navigant, and TRAVELSAVERS.

Prior to joining the Travel Edge team, he was Vice President / General Manager for Forte Business Travel Solutions providing business travel services for TRAVELSAVERS 2,500 agency members.

Thorne’s understanding of new program development, franchise and business travel sales, operations, and account management, provides him with the background necessary to successfully share the ADX and Travel Edge story with the global travel marketplace, says Cheryl Nicholson, EVP of Leisure at Travel Edge.
