The newly-launched course on Travelweeks’ Learning Centre – Image Your Korea Specialist – introduces travel agents to the hidden treasures of Korea, plus gives them a chance to win a Galaxy Tablet.
“Korea is a destination that changes so often that education is key. We are very excited to be starting a new e-learning initiative with Travelweek so that agents can stay current on Korea,” says Doojo Kim, director for the Toronto office for the Korea Tourism Organization.

The course takes agents through the different destinations within the country; explores accommodation and transport options; showcases different activities and events; takes you through Korea’s culinary delights; and more.

The first 50 agents to complete the course will get power banks for their electronic devices, plus one lucky winner will win the grand prize Galaxy Tablet.
Canadian arrivals in Korea have increased for 10 years straight, with a solid 9.8% increase in 2014, making Canada the third biggest long-haul market. Korea has a very high percentage of repeat visitors, plus the average spend is higher, making it a great destination for travel agents to sell.
