A touch of magic has found its way to the Hyatt Regency Maui Resort and Spa, where guests of all ages can book a brand new mermaid experience.

Launched in partnership with Hawaii Mermaid Adventures, whose missions it to provide a deeper connection to the ocean, the 90-minute group experience includes a conservation talk, a beautiful mermaid tail to wear, games and stories about the mythical creatures. All lessons begin with safety briefings and swimming techniques by CPR/lifeguard certified instructors.

Guests can get their fins wet and transform into magical undersea creatures in one of the resort’s pools on Thursdays for US$129 per person. If guests are interested, instructors can capture photos and videos using a GoPro that can be sent privately to each participant.
