Hyatt celebrates resort openings in St. Lucia and Playa del Carmen

CHICAGO — December has been off to a busy start for Hyatt Hotels Corporation, which is celebrating the opening of two highly anticipated resorts in the sun.

The company, which acquired Apple Leisure Group last year, announced the opening of Secrets Impression Moxché Playa del Carmen on Dec. 1, and Zoëtry Marigot Bay St. Lucia on Dec. 5.

ZOETRY MARIGOT BAY ST. LUCIA

Marking Zoëtry’s debut in St. Lucia, the 124-all-suite Zoëtry Marigot Bay St. Lucia is part of Hyatt’s Inclusive Collection and is located on Marigot Bay, giving guests easy access to top attractions like Diamond Falls Botanical Gardens, La Soufrière and the Piton volcanic mountainous areas. The ultra-luxe resort experience includes private yacht, helicopter or deluxe vehicle transfer, the brand’s signature ‘Endless Privileges’ inclusions, and a spacious treehouse where guests can participate in expert-led wellness sessions and private dinners.

Accommodations include penthouse residences, master suite residences and junior suites, each coming with high-end options like plunge pools, fully-equipped kitchens, spacious living and dining rooms, master bathrooms with double vanities and rain shower, concierge, personal assistant, private butler and more.

As part of the ‘Endless Privileges’ concept, guests can indulge in seven dining venues ranging from à la carte restaurants with thoughtfully crafted menus, to intimate dining experiences around the resort. Also available is 24-hour in-suite dining.

Culinary experiences include the upscale restaurant 1461, offering views of Marigot Bay, handcrafted beverages, and the option to reserve a private dining experience in the La Cava wine cellar. Guests can also enjoy Caribbean cuisine at Le Bateau, woodfire pizzas at the poolside grill, The Cove, and specialty rum selections and live entertainment at the open-air lounge, The Rum Cave, where local tastings with connoisseurs are also available.

With the motto ‘A State of Being’ at its core, Zoëtry Marigot Bay St. Lucia offers a wide range of self-care and holistic options that guarantee relaxation. At The Spa Village, guests can enjoy locally-inspired treatments like volcanic mud baths and moon phase rituals, or reserve a private, treetop-style location for ultimate pampering. Other highlights include a 24-hour fitness room and daily curated activities like SUP yoga at sunrise/sunset, pilates, Creole lessons, and body scrub- and hand lotion-making classes. Other land- and water-based experiences include paddle boarding, kayaking, snorkelling, scuba diving and a sunset cruise to Castries Harbor.
