FORT LAUDERDALE — Reservations are now open for Kimpton Tres Rios, Playa Hotels & Resorts newest managed all-inclusive property, for stays in early 2025. 

Located in Mexico’s Riviera Maya, the resort marks the first all-inclusive resort for the Kimpton brand, part of IHG Hotels & Resorts’ luxury and lifestyle portfolio. Surrounded by lush mangroves, the property has undergone a significant transformation since early 2023 to meet the standards of both IHG and Playa Hotels & Resorts.

Situated on 326 acres and featuring three distinct ecosystems (jungle, mangrove forests and coastal dunes) that make up a nature park, Kimpton Tres Rios is named after its three freshwater rivers and is home to over 90 animal species and 120 plant species. Guests can explore hidden cenotes, a native plant nursery and ecological trails, all within the resort’s expansive grounds.

Its 355 accommodations range in size and view with over 20 categories, including adults-only suites and oceanview swim-out suites with direct access to a plunge pool from the balcony. Guests can enjoy complimentary Wi-Fi, fully-stocked minibars and 24-hour room service.

Other resort highlights include seven diverse restaurants including Kotori, featuring a fusion of Asian flavours, and Sabina, a modern twist on traditional Mexican cuisine.
