Iberostar Waves Berkeley Shore accommodation

Iberostar Hotels & Resorts debuts two properties in Miami

PALMA DE MALLORCA — Iberostar has returned to Miami with two new hotels: Iberostar Waves Berkeley Shore and Iberostar Waves Miami Beach.

The expansion reaffirms the company’s 2024-2025 expansion strategy and commitment to beachfront destinations, according to Iberostar.

Both resorts are located in the heart of South Beach and offer premium accommodation under the Iberostar Waves brand.

“These openings represent a key milestone in our expansion strategy,” says Phil McAveety, CEO, Iberostar Hotels & Resorts. “Located in a world-renowned destination, close to the sea, and offering the high-quality services that are a hallmark of Iberostar, both properties exemplify our efforts to deliver a refreshed value proposition whilst promoting a model of responsible tourism.”

Iberostar Waves Berkeley Shore, which started to operate under the Iberostar Waves segment in December, is located in a 1940s building that retains its iconic Art Deco architecture. The property offers 96 rooms, a heated pool, a rooftop solarium with sea views, and a specialty restaurant.

Iberostar Waves Miami Beach became an Iberostar Waves in January 2025. With 82 rooms, the hotel is ideal for both families and business travellers, thanks to its meeting room space and proximity to the Miami Convention Centre.

These openings joined JOIA Aruba by Iberostar that opened in December 2024, along with two new hotels set to open in April 2025: Iberostar Selection Mirage Hammamet in Tunisia and Iberostar Selection Es Trenc in Mallorca.
