TORONTO — Sunwing has made a temporary adjustment to its final payment policy, with added flexibility.
Effective March 25 final payments are now due 25 days before the departure date, instead of the usual 45 days, for departures from May 1 – June 30, 2020.
Sunwing notes that the change to the policy is temporary and conditions will apply. The adjusted policy applies to individual bookings only, on all air only and packages purchased via Sunwing (not applicable to group bookings).
Sunwing’s air and package cancellation terms will be aligned with these amended final payment conditions (cancellation fees: 25 days or more before departure – loss of deposit; 24 to 22 days before departure – 50% of the total amount; 21 days and less before departure – 100% of the total amount).
All other terms and conditions remain the same.
Hola Sun is also making the change, reducing the final payment due date to 25 days prior to departure instead of the normal 45 days prior to departure.
Hola Sun says the new policy will be valid for all departures May 1 – June 30, 2020 and is only applicable to packages and air only bookings.
The policy is for individual bookings only and does not apply to group bookings.
Hola Sun is also reminding agents to remind their clients that changes and cancellations are as per the company’s normal policy.
