ORLANDO — Universal Orlando Resort has unveiled new details about Universal Epic Universe, its highly anticipated new theme park opening in 2025.
Considered Universal’s most “ambitious” theme park yet and its fourth overall, Universal Epic Universe will feature more than 50 attractions, entertainment, dining and shopping experiences, transforming the resort into a week-long vacation destination for guests.
New details have emerged about Celestial Park, the heart of Universal Epic Universe and the first world guests will encounter upon arrival. With acres of rolling gardens, waterways and strolling pathways, Celestial Park will take guests through lush living gardens surrounded by stunning architecture inspired by astronomical and mythological elements. Here, they’ll be able to board a shooting comet on a roller coaster adventure, shop exclusive merchandise and dine on delicious cuisine.
In addition, located inside Epic Universe at the end of Celestial Park will be Universal Helios Grand Hotel. Inspired by the juncture where heaven and earth meet, the resort will offer 500 rooms and its very own dedicated entrance into the theme park.
To make it easy for guests to see and experience it all, Celestial Park will also serve as the gateway to four additional worlds of Epic Universe, including:
- The Wizarding World of Harry Potter – Ministry of Magic: This all-new land blends 1920s wizarding Paris from Warner Bros. Pictures’ ‘Fantastic Beasts’ films with the iconic British Ministry of Magic from the ‘Harry Potter’ series.
- SUPER NINTENDO WORLD: Guests will enter the iconic green pipe and step into the worlds of beloved characters like Mario, Luigi, Princess Peach and Donkey Kong.
- How to Train Your Dragon – Isle of Berk: Here, guests can soar with dragon with Viking adventures based on the popular ‘How to Train Your Dragon’ film franchise.
- Dark Universe: Guests will encounter everything from the experiments of Dr. Victoria Frankenstein to the shadowy landscape where monsters roam in a world of mystery.
