Available to book now, the nonstop summer service will operate once per week on Saturdays from Toronto Pearson International Airport (YYZ) to Maurice Bishop International Airport (GND), starting April 6, 2024 until Oct. 31, 2024. Flights will depart from Toronto at 9:35 a.m., landing in Grenada at 3:00 p.m.. The return leg from Grenada will depart at 4:00 p.m. and arrive in Toronto at 9:40 p.m.
As reported by Travelweek last week, Air Canada currently offers four flights per week from YYZ on Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays and Sundays. Following the weekly summer service, 4x/weekly service will resume in November for the winter season.
“We’re thrilled to re-introduce year-round services in partnership with Air Canada, providing Canadian travellers with more access to the unspoiled beauty of Grenada,” said Petra Roach, CEO of the Grenada Tourism Authority. “Beyond positioning Grenada as a premier vacation destination, our priority is to cater to the needs of our community. Introducing a new summer service is incredibly beneficial for our diaspora, university students, and their networks. This move aligns with our commitment to meet the growing demand for tourism in our country, with a special emphasis on building out capacity during the crucial summer months.”
