MONTREAL — Open for just over a year now, the new Grand Muthu Cayo Guillermo resort is already a favourite with Canadian vacationers.

Offered by Transat, the four and a half star property opened its doors in March 2018 and features 500 rooms in twelve three-storey buildings. The resort is beachfront on Playa Pilar.

The all-inclusive plan includes four à la carte dinners per week (reservations required), daily activities program, daily sports, domestic drinks (unlimited, house wine included), evening entertainment, mini-bar, non-motorized water sports, select international brand drinks and snacks available around the clock. Of course buffet breakfast, lunch and dinner are part of the plan too, with drinks.

Grand Muthu Cayo Guillermo is also part of Transat’s Family Collection, created to meet the needs of all types of families. Amenities for kids on-property include a kids’ club for young guests ages four to 12, plus a kids’ pool, playground and water park.
