TORONTO — The 2020 edition of Goway’s high-end Journey of a Lifetime, the 30-day Cape to Cairo, is just one way the company will be celebrating its 50th anniversary in style.

Along the way, travellers spend a couple of nights in the Madikwe Game Reserve in South Africa, visit the mighty torrents of Victoria Falls, and head on safari in the iconic Selous Game Reserve in Tanzania, Africa’s largest game reserve.

Travellers disembark from the train in Dar es Salaam and fly to Kenya where they connect to Masai Mara Game Reserve, home to the Great Migration, the greatest natural show on earth.
After exploring the Great Rift Valley and meeting the Masai Warriors, travellers head into the cloud forests of Volcanoes National Park in Rwanda to go on a mountain gorilla trek.

The Cape to Cairo then ventures into Ethiopia to see the 12th-century rock-hewn churches of Lalibela before flying to Cairo where travellers will cap off their journey with an exploration of the pyramids and other wonders of Ancient Egypt.
