TORONTO — Demand for Japan is at an all-time high, says Goway, which is why the tour operator has released packages with guaranteed departure dates to the destination at the height of fall and cherry blossom season.
Goway’s new departure date for the 12-day Japan Cherry Blossom Odyssey is April 3, 2024. The other two departure dates have already sold out. The itinerary includes cherry blossom viewings in Osaka, Kyoto and Tokyo, with 10 rooms and a maximum of 16 passengers available for this departure.
Goway’s 12-day Japan Autumn Odyssey, which showcases Kyoto, Nara, Tokyo, Kanazawa and the Japanese Alps during the height of fall, has limited seats left for the Nov. 14, 2023 departure date.
Cherry blossom season in 2024 is expected to be as busy as in 2023, so booking ahead if highly recommended. In addition, guides in Japan are still limited in number and in high demand during the fall colours and spring cherry blossom season, which is why booking early is essential.
“I’m excited to offer more ways for travellers to see Japan during its most beautiful seasons,” says Brittany Banks, Product Manager of Middle East & Asia at Goway. “We had to start a waitlist for Japan Cherry Blossom Odyssey once the first two departures sold out early, so we’re thrilled to add another departure and share Japan with even more travellers. This is truly an exceptional program led by a national guide who escorts the group by train.
“Both packages showcase the unbelievable beauty of Japan during the spring and fall, respectively, and have quickly become some of our most popular Japan trips. I’m sure this third departure for the Japan Cherry Blossom Odyssey will sell out quickly, so don’t wait to book!”
