MISSISSAUGA — Globus family of brands enlisted a celebrity chef to help say a heartwarming “thank you” to its loyal agent partners at its recent industry event in Mississauga.
The celebratory luncheon took place at Capra’s Kitchen, an Italian restaurant by Toronto chef Massimo Capra, a well-known fixture on Food Network shows, Cityline, and Restaurant Makeover. Capra, with his signature handlebar mustache, was on hand to greet guests and present his Italian dishes, which included charcuterie boards, roasted chicken and mushroom risotto.
Stéphanie Bishop, managing director, Canada for the Globus family of brands, said that when conceptualizing the luncheon, the team debated whether to make it more about business.
“We resisted and said no,” she said. “Today’s goal is to simply say thank you for an incredible 2018.”
Bishop went on to say that Canadian contributed much to Globus’ global organization. “[The Canadian market] took 10 years in the making, but we made it,” she added. “We had a historical year of business growth, and we see nothing but continued growth and success.”
