In an effort to inspire and educate Canadian travel agents, Asia Now – a group of national tourism bodies for Korea, Philippines, Singapore, and Taiwan – has launched a first-of-its-kind series of Virtual FAMs to push international travel across its 4 different countries. Hosted on Facebook Live, this campaign is designed to inspire awareness and consideration of the partnered countries, through highlighting unique experiences, customized itineraries and interactive video footage.
On Wednesday, Nov. 17 the Singapore Tourism Board will host Asia Now’s second Virtual FAM Tour.
“Join us as we explore Tiong Bahru Market, one of the best hawker centres in town. Whether it’s the famous Chwee Kueh (steamed rice cake topped with preserved radish) or mouth-watering Pau (steamed bun), there is something for everyone!” says the Singapore Tourism Board.
The live virtual tour will start on Nov. 17 at 6:00 p.m. PST / 9:00 p.m. EST.

Canadian travel agents can register for the other virtual FAM tours via Facebook and receive important updates and notifications.
Following the four Virtual FAM tours, Asia Now will be hosting a virtual game night to quiz and test participants’ knowledge of the 4 different countries. The Virtual Game Night will be on Nov. 24 at 1:00 p.m. EST. Agents can register here to play.
