TORONTO — The Canadian Association of Tour Operators (CATO) has a new Vice Chair.
At CATO’s most recent meeting it was announced that David Green, Managing Director for G Adventures in Canada and also Global VP for Sales and Customer Operations, would succeed long-time CATO Vice Chair Stéphanie Bishop.
Green, an MBA graduate, has close to 30 years experience in business strategy across travel retail and travel wholesale backgrounds.
He’s also an industry advocate who has built a career focused on growth through a customer-centric approach, working in the UK, Australia and Canada.
Says CATO Chair Brett Walker: “We are thrilled to have David join the CATO executive as well as extend a huge thanks to Stéphanie for all her service and continued commitment to CATO.”
The current CATO executive consists of Brett Walker (Collette) Chair; David Green (G Adventures) Vice Chair; Nicole Bursey (Transat) TICO Director and Joanne Dhue (Sunwing) TICO Director.
CATO has also established a standing Sustainability Committee Chaired by Emma Cottis (GOWAY).
