A recent article in Forbes analyzes data from the WTTC, UNWTO, IATA to show that the world’s travel and tourism industry is set to be bouyant over the next 20 years.
WTTC predicts that travel and tourism’s contribution to global GDP will rise to 10.5% and grow an average of 3.8% a year, for the next 10 years.
UNWTO estimates that international tourists will rise to 1.8 billion per year in 2030, up from 1.1 billion in 2014, representing an additional 43 million tourist every year.
While IATA expects passenger volute to more than double by 2034.
