Flair Airlines leases two new B737 MAX aircraft for summer 2023

Flair announces nonstop service from Toronto to Palm Springs

EDMONTON — Starting Dec. 15, Flair Airlines will become the only airline to offer nonstop service between Toronto and Palm Springs this holiday season.

The ultra-low-cost carrier will offer nonstop flights twice a week, on Tuesdays and Saturdays, between Toronto Pearson (YYZ) and Palm Springs International Airport (PSP). Its signature low fares are now available for purchase.

The route will coincide with previously announced transborder service to Palm Springs from Vancouver and Edmonton, which also begins this fall. With the addition of this new route, Flair now offers nonstop service to five U.S. destinations from Toronto: Orlando, Fort Lauderdale, Las Vegas, Phoenix-Mesa, and now Palm Springs.

“Our low fares and nonstop routes are changing the travel game for Canadians. We cannot wait to bring more travellers to these popular destinations,” says Stephen Jones, President and CEO, Flair Airlines. “Travellers can explore the local festivals, sporting events, outdoor activities or relax poolside. Palm Springs is an excellent destination for Canadians to choose for an affordable winter escape.”

Scott White, Visit Greater Palm Springs President & CEO, added: “We are excited to welcome Flair Airlines and the new nonstop service from Toronto during our beautiful sunny winters. With the return of our world-class events like Modernism Week, the American Express Golf Tournament, the BNP Paribas Open, and Coachella and Stagecoach music festivals, there is no better time to find your oasis in Greater Palm Springs.”

Last month, Flair announced that it has extended its flight schedule through summer 2022, increasing service in core markets in Canada and the U.S. with prices starting at $29, one-way.
