First guests check into Hotel X Toronto

TORONTO — Hotel X Toronto by Library Hotel Collection has welcomed its first guests as the first step in its soft opening phase.

The luxury hotel just inside the Princes’ Gates in Toronto’s lakefront Exhibition Place location, has 404 lakefront rooms and suites now open, with a plan to have amenities and public areas open in phases in the upcoming months.

When all is said and done the development aims to be Toronto’s first lakefront urban oasis, with four indoor tennis courts, two outdoor pools, two cinemas, four food and beverage outlets, and TEN X TORONTO, the largest hotel athletic and wellness facility in Canada.

Library Hotel Collection President Henry Kallan says Hotel X Toronto is the result of years of hard work, vision and the goal of creating something totally unique. “We were inspired by this site and the vibrant city of Toronto to think beyond anything that exists in hospitality today. Hotel X Toronto sits on nine-acres of waterfront land and yet it is just minutes from the downtown core. The idea of an urban oasis with all the amenities of a luxury resort grew from there.”

Kallan says the hotel will offer current guests a number of courtesies until the hotel is fully operational, including free continental breakfast and afternoon wine and cheese served in the Library Club Lounge.

The food and beverage outlets are not yet open however the hotel is offering complimentary transportation to numerous local restaurants. Guests also have access to Starbucks, open from 7 a.m. to 10 p.m. daily.

All current guests also get complimentary valet parking until self-parking is available.

Food and beverage outlets in the hotel will begin to open in late March and meeting spaces will be open for bookings as of early April. TEN X TORONTO will be available to hotel guests in mid-April and open for private membership in the beginning of May. The spa is slated to open in fall 2018, while the TEN X TORONTO rooftop pool prepares to open in summer 2019.
