First 50 attendees at Granite Travel Trade Expos get $20 MasterCard

TORONTO — The first 50 attendees at each Granite Travel Trade Expos event this spring will receive a $20 MasterCard courtesy of Catalonia Hotels & Resorts.

The popular expos are back for 2024 after a strong and successful inaugural year in 2023. A series of Ontario shows kicks off in Windsor April 22.

“We are happy to be returning to the Granite Travel Trade Expos again this year, and really appreciate the opportunity to connect with so many top agents,” said Greta Hidalgo, North America Sales Director for Catalonia Hotels & Resorts. “We wanted the agents in attendance to know how much we appreciate them taking the time to attend and learn about our Caribbean products, so we hope this small gesture is a show of our appreciation.”

Bradley Dean, Oakville Toronto Partner, Granite Productions, adds: “We recognize that in today’s economy and with high gas prices, there is an expense to attend events. We’re very grateful to Catalonia Hotels & Resorts who also recognizes this and was able to provide this token of appreciation to our agents who support us. As always, it is free to attend our Expos and there is free parking at every one.”

Here are the cities, dates and venues for the spring schedule in Ontario …

Windsor – April 22 – Ambassador Golf Club, 1025 Sprucewood Ave.

Kitchener-Waterloo – April 23 – Edelweiss Banquet Centre, 600 Doon Village Rd.

Oshawa-Ajax – April 24 – Harmony Event Centre, 1011 Bloor St. East

Along with destination sponsor St. Kitts, and hotel sponsor Bahia Principe Hotels and Resorts, suppliers taking part in the 2024 events include Oasis Hotels, WestJet Vacations, Majestic Resorts, Expedia TAAP, Catalonia Hotels & Resorts, Princess Hotels and Resorts, Blue Diamond Resorts, Iberostar Beachfront Resorts, Princess Hotels & Resorts Jamaica and the Cuba Tourist Board.

The expos are designed to connect industry suppliers and top-producing travel agents, facilitating valuable and essential in-person interactive consultations and presentations, says Dean. Each event will offer training and networking, with face-to-face interaction with agents and products. In each city, a presentation series featuring 15-minute segments by suppliers will be followed by a trade show, dinner, and prize giveaways.

Multi show discounts worth up to 20% are available to vendors wishing to participate in the expos.
