TORONTO — Uplift has hired a new Senior Business Development Manager, Canada.

Tanya Johnson, well-known from her stint as Sales Manager for Royal Irish Tours, is taking on the senior BDM role at the fintech start-up. Most recently Johnson was Strategic and Key Account Manager for Bedsonline.

Uplift offers alternate payment solutions for travel, allowing clients to book now and pay over time. Uplift has hit the ground running in Canada with industry veteran Denise Heffron at the helm. Uplift has signed deals with tripcentral.ca, Travelbrands/Redtag.ca/itravel2000, TPI – Travel Professionals International and Travel Only.
